Scott Leamon brings an extraordinary range of talents to the table on ever project. In addition to his documentary filmmaking credentials, he has also earned a reputation as a much sought-after composer, producer, engineer and user experience designer. He spent many years designing web sites with several businesses, including Stamats Communications, Metro Studios and MuzMedia and developed one of the first proprietary social media sites in higher education. A classically trained composer and guitarist, he helps conceive, edit and score American Visions documentaries. A graduate of Ball State University, his unique ability to integrate these talents into a singular creative vision has enabled him to play a major role in creating and producing award-winning projects. He most recently served as associate producer for the PBS documentary Landslide – A Portrait of Herbert Hoover, and editor, composer and sound designer for North Carolina-An American Portrait.
